Accessing legal help has traditionally meant navigating a slow, expensive, and often confusing process, one where simply figuring out who to call or what path to take can take weeks. ResoX was built to change that.
At the centre of the platform is AIDA, an AI Dispute Advisor powered by GPT-4 that guides users through their legal situation in plain, conversational language. AIDA assesses the key factors of each dispute, desired outcome, willingness to negotiate, confidentiality, and time and budget, then recommends the most appropriate pathway: negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation.
Based on the conversation, AIDA automatically matches the user with the right Dispute Resolution Professional from a pre-vetted network, filtered by jurisdiction and language, across commercial contracts, employment, family law, real estate, healthcare, and intellectual property.
Legal dispute resolution is high-stakes and genuinely opaque. People often do not know what help they need, who can provide it, or what it will cost. Making it accessible required solving some difficult problems.
The system had to help users understand their options in a structured, neutral way, without crossing into legal advice.
Specialisms, jurisdictions, languages, and availability all matter. A poor match wastes time and erodes trust.
The move from conversation to professional engagement had to carry all case context forward automatically.
The platform had to handle concurrent users across legal contexts and languages without degrading the experience.
We built ResoX with a conversational AI intake flow at its core, powered by Google Dialogflow CX and GPT-4 working together. AIDA runs a structured, empathetic assessment of each dispute in a tone that is calm, clear, and easy to follow.
A smart-matching engine maps the completed dispute profile to qualified professionals across the full range of specialisms, filtered by jurisdiction and language so every match is genuinely relevant. When AIDA concludes, the system automatically creates a structured case ticket and routes it to the matched professional, with all conversation context preserved for a seamless handoff.
A serverless backend on AWS Lambda and Node.js handles session management and ticket tracking, with MongoDB providing the data layer for full case continuity.
